The Lodi Land and Lumber Company sawmill was built on the south bank of the Mokelumne River in , and relied on logs floated down from the Sierra during the rainy season. The San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum , the largest museum complex in the county, is just south of Lodi, at the Micke Grove Regional Park , and traces the history of the area through many exhibits and interactive displays.

Changing Faces Theater Company is a non-profit, student-run organization that is supported by the Lodi Arts Commission. An annual two-week production occurs each summer and is cast with mostly local children ranging from age six up to college students and, sometimes, a few adults. The Draft will include an Existing Housing Needs Analysis, Fair Housing Assessment, and sites inventory. The Draft will be sent to City staff for feedback.
The Draft Housing Element Update will be released for public review. The public will be able to submit comments on the draft Housing Element Update for a day comment period.
The Project Team will review and incorporate public comments into a revised Housing Element Update prior to taking it to the Planning Commission. Phase 5: State Certification The Project Team will revise the Public Review Draft Housing Element Update based on direction from the Planning Commission and City Council and prepare the draft to be delivered to the California Department of Housing and Community Development HCD for review.
HCD has 90 days to review the Draft Housing Element Update and provide comments to the Housing Element Team. The Housing Element Team will make any necessary changes to the Draft Housing Element Update and work closely with HCD to get conditional approval prior to the Planning Commission and City Council hearings.
Phase 6: Community Outreach The Project Team will implement a Community Engagement Strategy that is inclusive of all those who make up the community, including residents; workers; businesses; property owners; developers and residential builders; educational institutions; civic, community, and non-profit organizations; religious, social, cultural, and ethnic committees; and public agencies.
The Strategy will include both in-person and virtual opportunities for participation. Phase 8: Environmental Review The Project Team will prepare required, applicable documents for CEQA review.
Phase 9: Tribal Consultations The Project Team will conduct government-to-government tribal consultation in accordance with Assembly Bill 52 of AB 52 and Senate Bill 18 of SB The Project Team will review the General Plan to ensure consistency with the Housing Element Update, including land use; growth management and infrastructure; community design and livability; transportation; parks, recreation and open space; conservation; and noise elements and prepare recommendations for revisions, as appropriate.
The Project Team will identify and map critical assets emergency services, transportation, public health that could be exposed to climate hazards and conduct a spatial and qualitative analysis of the sensitivity and adaptive capacity of each. A key component of the vulnerability assessment will be an evaluation of the potential for climate change to disproportionally impact vulnerable population groups e.
